Tom Brady 'hates' Peyton and Eli Manning's mom, former Giants star jokes

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Tom Brady hates the Manning family. At least, that's how Eli Manning feels.

The former New York Giants quarterback, of course, beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl (XLII and XLVI). His older brother, Peyton, kept him from playing in three others after AFC Championship losses in 2006, 2013 and 2015. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM

But the two-time Super Bowl MVP feels that Brady feels strongly about much more than just the quarterbacks that have kept him from five more rings. "He hates us. He hates my mom. If it weren’t for Olivia Manning, Tom would have like 12 Super Bowls probably," Manning said on Julian Edelman's "Games With Names" podcast. Brady has had to settle for "only" seven titles instead, but he's gone on the record saying that the 18-1 season still haunts him.

HOW MANY SUPER BOWL WINS DOES PEYTON MANNING HAVE? THE GREATEST MOMENTS FROM THE NFL QUARTERBACK'S CAREER Eli Manning earned the MVP for both of those Super Bowls he won, leading last-minute touchdown drives in each game. Plaxico Burress caught the game-winner with 39 seconds left in 2008, shortly after David Tyree's helmet catch, to win Super Bowl XLII, 17-14, while in Super Bowl XLVI, Ahmad Bradshaw, although reluctantly, found the end zone to give the Giants the 21-17 lead, which was the final score. Brady was sacked five times in Super Bowl XLII and twice in Super Bowl XLVI. Peyton Manning would go on to win two of the three Super Bowls he played in after taking down Brady. He did not defeat Brady en route to Super Bowl XLIV.

Looking for a Specialist to Help Mom or Dad Secure Medicaid?

As we get older, the odds that any of us will need some type of long-term care grows dramatically. In fact, for someone is turning 65 today, there’s almost a 70 percent chance they will need at least a few years of long-term care services and supports in their remaining years. But finding the right kinds of care—and ways to afford it—can be a formidable task. Long-term care options are often complicated and expensive, and can arise suddenly, through an unexpected health crisis. Increasingly, many average American families are turning to support from Medicaid—but qualifying for these programs can still be complex, stressful and confusing. In today’s episode, Guido Derlly, the Founder and Emics Elder Care, talks about his mission to help people understand their long-term care options and guide them through each step of the Medicaid application process. A Certified Medicaid Planner, Guido will explain how he works with families to plan an elder’s finances so they can obtain Medicaid benefits that will help secure the best personalized options for at-home care, long-term custodial care agency or a skilled nursing care facility. Guido will outline the basics of Medicaid eligibility, including recent regulatory changes, and he’ll dismantle some common misconceptions, lack of information and fears about Medicaid. Guido will explain ways to restructure and reorganize assets, using trusts and other financial strategies that allow families to hold on to some of their legacy—you don’t have to be destitute to qualify—and under certain circumstances, enable your loved ones to receive home-care treatments at no cost before they are approved for Medicaid. More broadly, Guido will talk about his role as an advocate for the vulnerable elderly, working with other professionals to raise awareness about programs, ensuring that families get connected to care as soon as possible—and know that they don’t have to climb this challenging mountain alone.

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

A Florida teenager who allegedly organized a pyramid scheme and his mother have been charged in connection with nationwide identity theft, authorities said.

Elijah Duett, 14, faces 15 counts of identity theft, obtaining property by fraud, illegal use of credit cards and unlawful use of a 2-way communication device. His mother, Selena Wallace, 38, was arrested on principal charges to each count, along with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said.  Duett initially came under investigation in May and was charged with making written threats against a student who didn't pay into a pyramid scheme he was running, authorities said.  Investigators discovered the teen was purchasing a "significant" amount of stolen personal and financial information online. That included social security and credit numbers and the login information to a number of banks and websites, police said.  FLORIDA SCHOOL SHOOTER NIKOLAS CRUZ STRUCK UP FRIENDSHIP WITH SANDY HOOK VICTIM'S MOM

Duett also had detailed instructions and equipment to forge money orders, they said.  Investigators identified at least 17 victims from across the country. Of those, 15 wanted to pursue criminal charges against the teen suspect.  As the investigation progressed, Investigators learned that Wallace told her son that she wished he would use his skills in a legal way before asking him to raise his prices to make more profit, authorities said.  CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP

Deadly shooting: Witness carried boy, 9, to clinic after mom and son shot in car outside Midrand mosque

A mother and son were shot outside Nizamiye Mosque in Midrand, Johannesburg.

A mother and son were shot outside Nizamiye Mosque in Midrand, Johannesburg.

  • A 9-year-old boy died after sustaining gunshot wounds on Tuesday.
  • His 41-year-old mother had fetched him and his sister, 13, when two men fired at them.
  • The 13-year-old was unharmed, while the woman was receiving medical treatment in hospital.

A parent who witnessed the shooting of a 9-year-old boy and his mother outside the Nizamiye Mosque in Midrand, Johannesburg, carried the child's bloodied body to the school clinic to save his life, but he succumbed to his wounds shortly thereafter.

Two unknown assailants shot the Grade 3 pupil and his mother, 41, multiple times on Tuesday afternoon.

The woman had fetched her son and daughter, 13, from school when the men fired several shots at them and their vehicle.

The girl was unharmed.

When New24 arrived at Nizamiye Primary and High School, the scene had been cleared. Law enforcement officers and forensic experts had finalised their preliminary investigation and were seen leaving the premises.

They said they were not able to share any details about the incident.

'Everybody is shaken'

School principal Ramzi Hasanli told News24 he was not at the school when the deadly shooting occurred about 100 metres from the main gate.

He said parents who had come to fetch their children and pupils witnessed the incident.

"One of the parents who witnessed the shooting carried the body [of the 9-year-old boy] to the clinic. The child died at the clinic, and [forensic experts have] now taken him for a post-mortem investigation. Everybody is shaken. It's very tragic," said Hasanli.

According to Hasanli, the 13-year-old girl is a Grade 7 pupil at the school. She was safe and with her relatives.

Due to the sensitivity of the investigation, and to protect the identity of the 13-year-old pupil, her mother and brother cannot be identified.

The 41-year-old woman is being treatment at a Johannesburg hospital for gunshot wounds.

Hasanli said none of the eyewitnesses recognised the vehicle used by the assailants and they could not confirm how many gunshots were fired.

He said there were five visible gunshots to the woman's vehicle.

He said teaching would continue through the week and that pupils who had witnessed the incident would receive counselling from the South African Depression and Anxiety Group and the Department of Education's psychological unit.

"It will be difficult for working parents to make urgent arrangements to keep the children at home so the school will operate... In the next few days, we will discuss what [safety] measures will be taken," he said.

Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said details of the shooting were sketchy. He said police were yet to arrest the two attackers who sped off after the shooting.

"A case of murder and attempted murder has been open for investigation," said Masondo.
