Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party and Federal Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari advised former prime minister Imran Khan to become a human being in the first place before becoming a politician.
Taking to Twitter, Bilawal censured Imran Khan for holding public rallies as the country faces devastating flooding.
voiced exasperation over Imran Khan who addressed a public gathering in Gujrat on September 2, saying that Pakistan is facing the most tragic calamity of its history as one-third of the country is submerged under floodwaters.
He said that about 35 million people were affected in the country, which is one-seventh of the country's total population.
Bilawal said that the former prime minister is holding a concert in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. The chief ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are busy organizing the concerts of the former prime minister instead of helping the flood victims, he said.
Under such circumstances, this behaviour by the PTI leadership is shameful, he added.
The PPP chairman advised them to "be human" in the first place, saying, "First become a human being, then become a politician."
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari postponed his official visits to four European countries in view of calamities across Pakistan caused by the ongoing heavy monsoon rains and flooding, a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said.
The foreign minister was set to depart on a four country-trip including Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway in a bid to strengthen Pakistan’s engagement with Europe and share its perspective on regional and global issues from August 22-26.
According to the statement, Bilawal delayed his visits due to the heavy damages to lives and property caused by the torrential rains in the country.
The foreign minister is looking forward to his interactions with his counterparts, other dignitaries and media, as part of Pakistan’s continued engagement with Europe.
FM Bilawal's visits to these capitals will be rescheduled at mutually agreed later dates in consultation with the host governments, said the ministry.

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari Thursday said that Pakistan and China had complete convergence on fully leveraging Shanghai Cooperation Organisation as an important regional platform for development and connectivity.
Bilawal met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers meetings of the SCO.
During the meeting, Bilawal and Wang reviewed the progress in bilateral relations and discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Referring to his meeting with the secretary general of the SCO in Islamabad, Bilawal reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the purposes and principles of the SCO and the "Shanghai Spirit".
Both sides reaffirmed their strong support for each other’s core interests and major concerns and commitment to deepening strategic communication including at the highest political level and practical cooperation.
The foreign minister expressed satisfaction at the frequent high-level interactions between the two sides which was a hallmark of the bilateral relations.
He underscored that his third meeting with Wang reflected the importance attached by both sides to maintaining strategic communication, further deepening the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and advancing economic engagement for mutual benefit.
Bilawal further emphasised that the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor's (CPEC) development had reached a new phase, with increasing emphasis on high-quality development of industry, agriculture, IT, and science and technology, while ensuring tangible socio-economic benefits for the people.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in Afghanistan, agreeing that peace and stability in Afghanistan were vital for regional development and prosperity. They also agreed that only a peaceful, stable and connected Afghanistan could act as a fulcrum for enhanced regional trade and connectivity.
The two foreign ministers agreed to maintain close coordination.
