Deputy commissioner says death tolls rise to 13.Total of seven people, including children, drowned.
Search for more people is underway.
The death toll from a boat that capsized while carrying flood affectees near Sindh’s Bilawalpur earlier today is presumed to have surpassed 10 after officials said on Monday a search for more people is underway.
The deputy commissioner said that the death tolls rose to 13; while eight people have been rescued. Rescue sources said that nearly 25 flood victims were being taken to the relief camps when the incident took place.
A total of seven people, including children, drowned as the boat capsized, their bodies have been rescued and recovered.
A huge relief operation is underway in Pakistan as the country struggles to deal with monsoon flooding that has affected more than 33 million people.
Officials said 1,136 people have died since June when the seasonal rains began, but the final toll could be higher as hundreds of villages in the mountainous north have been cut off by flood-swollen rivers washing away roads and bridges.
Officials said this year's flooding has affected more than 33 million people — one in seven Pakistanis — destroying or badly damaging nearly a million homes.

At least 15 people have been killed in India after heavy monsoon rains triggered flash floods and landslides near the Himalayan foothills.
Rescue officials were rushed on Saturday to Mandi district in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh where a torrent of floodwater swept away two houses and killed eight people, a government statement said.
Landslides and flooding claimed seven other lives across the state, the release added.
Television news footage showed part of a railway bridge washed away by the deluge in nearby Kangra district. Schools were closed in the worst-affected districts.
In Hamipur district, flash floods stranded 19 people on the rooftops of local buildings before they were rescued by disaster response teams.

Climate crisis
Of those dead, eight family members were buried alive on Saturday in Himachal Pradesh after their home collapsed due to heavy rain, Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary told Anadolu Agency.
"There were flash floods, landslides in multiple places due to heavy rains. So far, we have recovered 10 bodies. Around 3-5 people are still missing," Chaudhary said.
"A search and rescue operation is underway to find the missing people," he added.
Flooding and landslides are common and cause widespread devastation during India's treacherous monsoon season.
Last month, eight people died after flash floods triggered by a sudden downpour struck a camp for pilgrims in nearby Kashmir.
Heavy rains battered India's remote northeast in June, with nearly 40 killed in a landslide that swamped a camp housing railway workers and army reservists in Manipur state.
Experts say the climate crisis is increasing the number of extreme weather events around the world, with damming, deforestation and development projects in India exacerbating the human toll.

Algerian firefighters have brought under control a string of forest blazes that have killed at least 38 people including 12 who died in a bus trapped by the flames.
Fire service spokesman Farouk Achour told the AFP news agency late on Thursday that 16 fires were still burning across seven districts but that those in the worst-hit eastern areas, El Tarf and Souk Ahras, were under control.
In Souk Ahras, a large crowd gathered to mourn five members of the same family who perished in the flames.
At least 38 people have been killed including more than 10 children and 10 firefighters, according to multiple sources, including local journalists and the fire service.
Most were in the El Tarf region near Algeria's eastern border with Tunisia, an area which has been sweltering in 48 degree Celsius heat.
At least 200 more people have suffered burns or respiratory problems, according to various Algerian media.
Annual scourge
Deadly fires have become an annual scourge in Algeria, where the climate crisis has turned large areas of forest into a tinderbox in the blistering summer months.
Authorities have been accused of being ill-prepared, with few firefighting aircraft available despite record casualties in last year's blazes and a cash windfall from gas exports amid soaring global energy prices.
Algeria had agreed to buy seven such aircraft from Spanish firm Plysa, but cancelled the contract following a diplomatic row over the Western Sahara in late June, according to specialist website Mena Defense.
Authorities have rented a Russian water bomber, but it broke down and is not expected to be operational again until Saturday, Interior Minister Kamel Beldjoud said. The civil protection service and the army have access to several firefighting helicopters.
'The forest is weakened'
On Thursday, Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane defended the government's response, saying that the country had ordered four new firefighting aircraft –– but that they would not be available until December.
He added that strong winds had exacerbated the blazes and said authorities were "deploying all their means" to extinguish them.
Retired academic and forestry expert Rafik Baba-Ahmed said in a video published on social media that "winds of over 90 kilometres per hour make the work of water bombers difficult if not impossible".
He said bad land management had added to the problem, adding, "today, the forest is weakened. It has been chipped away at."

Petersen, a German filmmaker, earned the most awards acclaim in his career for his 1981 World War II epic "Das Boot," but his career is populated by a number of films that hold special places in the hearts of cult action film lovers.
After writing and directing 1984's children's fantasy film "The NeverEnding Story," he went on to make a string of action films with some of the biggest stars of their eras, like "In the Line of Fire" (starring Clint Eastwood and Rene Russo), "Outbreak" (with Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and Russo) and "Air Force One" (with Harrison Ford and Glenn Close).
In the aughts, he continued the trend, helming "The Perfect Storm" with George Clooney and "Troy" with Brad Pitt and "Poseidon."
"Being directed by Wolfgang on 'Air Force One' remains a special memory," actress Glenn Close said in a statement provided to CNN. "Even though the script was thrilling and incredibly intense, I remember a lot of laughs, especially in the scenes around the huge table in the War Room."
Petersen, she said, would set up a remote-controlled camera that could rotate in place, enabling him to film all the actors and Petersen wiould provide them cues when they were being filmed.
"You knew the camera would pause on you by his hilarious direction while setting up the shot. He would point to us in turn and say, 'Acting...acting...NO acting...NO acting...ACTING... aaaacting!'" she recalled. "He didn't waste anyone's time. My memory is of a man full of joie de vivre who was doing what he most loved to do."
Petersen is survived by his wife, Maria Antoinette, son Daniel and two grandchildren, according to his spokesperson.

Two persons have died and one fell seriously ill after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Samastipur district of dry Bihar, officials said on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Vikram Kumar (21) and Rahul Kumar (22) of Bakhtiyarpur village. Another person Munna Kumar (19) has been admitted to a government hospital in Samastipur and his condition is reported to be critical, they said.
Talking to reporters, Samastipur, Superintendent of Police, Hriday Kant said, “Bodies of Vikram and Rahul have been sent for the post-mortem examination. The exact cause of death can only be ascertained after the post-mortem examination report”. The local police is investigating the matter, the SP said, adding searches are also being conducted to nab the suspected bootleggers.
Villagers claim that all three consumed liquor on Monday. Immediately after consuming liquor, Vikram’s condition started deteriorating. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital where he was declared brought dead on Monday. Condition of Rahul also deteriorated and he was rushed to the hospital where he died on Tuesday, said a local police officer on condition of anonymity.
Sale and consumption of alcohol was completely banned in Bihar by the Nitish Kumar government in April, 2016, in line with an electoral promise he had made to the state’s women ahead of assembly polls held the year before. Since November last year, the state has reported a number of hooch tragedies in which more than 65 people have died.

WYATT, Mo. -- At least one person was killed Monday when a house exploded in southeast Missouri and a neighboring home erupted in flames, authorities said.
Mississippi County Coroner Terry Parker said the victim died at a Cape Girardeau hospital, KFVS-TV reported. The victim's name wasn't immediately released.
According to the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office, 10 people were injured in the explosion in the town of Wyatt. Firefighters and ambulances from several surrounding communities rushed to the scene as a second home caught on fire.
A faulty water heater may be to blame, Charleston Department of Public Safety Chief Robert Hearnes said.
The injured included adults and children as young as 6 months old, Hearnes said. The State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate.
Wyatt is a town of about 280 people located about 130 miles (210 kilometers) south of St. Louis.
An explosion that set off a fire at a market in the Armenian capital Yerevan on Sunday killed three people and injured dozens of others, officials announced.
The fire ripped through the market at Surmalu, said the first reports.
"After preliminary data, an explosion happened which set off a fire," said the emergency situations ministry in a statement, giving a toll of three dead and around 40 people hospitalized.
They also reported that a nearby building had collapsed and published the names of 25 people loved ones were trying to contact, saying they might be trapped under its ruins.
As the search for survivors continued, rescue workers were using a digger to clear away rubble, an AFP journalist at the scene reported.
They had so far pulled 10 survivors from the rubble and recovered one body, said the ministry statement.
The wholesale market at Surmalu is normally very busy on Sunday afternoons, which is when the blast happened.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, but local news reports, citing witnesses, said the explosion happened at a place that stored fireworks. The authorities have so far made no statement on what might have caused the fire.
Photos and videos posted on social media showed a thick column of black smoke over the market and what appeared to be a series of detonations can be heard.
A number of volunteers were also helping at the scene, scrambling to move piles of twisted concrete blocks and metal bars with their bare hands.
Nearby, firefighters kept their hoses trained on the smoking ruins, soaking them down with water.
In all, 200 firefighters and medical workers were sent to the scene, as well as fire engines and construction site equipment.
The disaster comes at a time when the country is already going through a difficult period.
Armenia, a small country with around 3 million inhabitants, is still recovering from the 2020 war with Azerbaijan, which ended in a heavy defeat which in turn sparked a political crisis.
Reflecting the current tensions, the Yerevan metro system was evacuated shortly after the blast following a bomb scare, officials said, adding that no device had been find.
Armenia's neighbor, Russia, said via its embassy that it was trying to establish if any of its citizens were victims of the blast.
It offered its condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in the disaster.

Hollywood actor Anne Heche has been declared legally dead, one week after she crashed her car into a Los Angeles building.
Having lost all brain function, she is "legally dead according to California law," though her heart is still beating as her family keeps her body on life support while exploring organ donations, spokesperson Holly Baird said on Friday.
Heche, 53, had been comatose in hospital with a severe brain injury since the fiery collision on August 5.
"Today we lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend," the family said in a joint statement.
"Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy.
"Her bravery for always standing in her truth, spreading her message of love and acceptance, will continue to have a lasting impact."
Heche, best known for 1990s movies "Donnie Brasco" and "Six Days, Seven Nights", crashed her car into a two-storey house in the Mar Vista neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
The violent collision resulted in "structural compromise and... heavy fire" at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The ensuing blaze took 59 firefighters more than an hour to contain and fully extinguish, the department said.
Local media reported on Thursday that preliminary tests of Heche's blood had come back positive for narcotics, though more were needed to ensure the drugs had not been administered in the course of her treatment.
Celebrity gossip outlet TMZ, citing unnamed police sources, said Heche had tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, with the latter sometimes used for pain relief in clinical settings.
"My brother Atlas and I lost our Mom," Heche's son Homer Laffoon said in a separate statement.
"Hopefully my mom is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom," he wrote.
Heche rose to fame with her role on the soap opera "Another World," for which she won a Daytime Emmy in 1991.
She was nominated for a Tony award for her appearance in "Twentieth Century" on Broadway in 2004.
